I’m crazy these days. First I drive into the garage, then I cut my finger with a knife, and ten minutes later I hurt my neck (yet again). It’s hard to describe my neck issues, but it started with falling asleep on the couch while playing Bejeweled a couple years ago in an awkward position. I woke up and couldn’t turn my head. It got worse the next day, so I went to the doctor because of the extreme pain that I was in. She was like: oh it’s a strain, you should go to PT and the Chiropractor and take an anti-inflammatory. So I did just that, and two years later my neck is so delicate that if I sneeze in the wrong way I’ll pinch a nerve and find myself back in extreme pain. WHY?! I feel like it’s a disc issue because I lose range of motion along with feeling sharp pain. Anyhow, that doesn’t fix the problem and I don’t know how to fix it and I don’t seem to be seeing the right doctors and now I’m stuck on the couch – quite literally stuck and it doesn’t feel good – it makes me mad.
Things that don’t make me mad:
Decorating Easter eggs with only glue and glitter. Eff stupid egg dying, that gets people nowhere… or people who don’t have a lot of time anyhow. If you use glitter, you should only buy the Martha Stewart kind – I’m telling you, the glitter is so unbelieveabley fine in size that it is the best one out there – Natasha agrees, which is good because she now has 100 bottles of it.
And – My new subscription ($10 per month) to Birch Box. My first month came with a lot of cool stuff: a no snag hair tie, very pretty smelling perfume by Annick Goutal, Tarte LipSurgence in “joy”, Essie LuxeEffects silver sparkle nail polish, and Peter Thomas Roth mattifying gel. I am really happy with the perfume (I want to order the full size), the hair tie, and the nail polish. The Tarte lip stuff is too orangey for me to wear, and it’s yet to be determined on the PTR gel. This was a really fun item to come home to!
