A delicious day

Today was a night for eating, yeah I probably should have gone running, but instead I went lobstering.  Turner Fisheries has a Wednesday night special: 2 lb. lobster for $30.  Some of you are probably peeing your pants, that’s actually a deal in Boston…I called around to many places to compare.  That’s kind of how they get you though, they offer a discounted lobster based on the market price however other things are expensive!  My sangria was $13 eek and my chowder was $8 eeeeek and then we got dessert.  I know, the gluttony and over priced fare is just out of control.  Sometimes it’s good to indulge in life and forget all the annoying things in life for a couple hours, and sometimes I like to eat my feelings.  It’s been a stressful week.

An under-exposed sneak attack grainy photo.  Blackberries do much better with the flash!  My husband is like a giant compared to me here.

My foodie friend Natasha came with us but I somehow didn’t take any pics of her.  Sorry Tash – but I have a photo of us eating lobsters last year, the bibs are the same.

We ate our faces off.  2 pound lobsters, drinks, grilled asparagus, mashed potatoes which were not very good – too paste like in texture, and desserts.  I got the flourless chocolate cake, Abe got the rhubarb pie, and Tash got something that resembled dehydrated astronaut food.

We did not stop there.
Right after we were done we went to a little candy store.

Personally, I only bought this one candy bar for Abe.  I thought he’d appreciate beef mixed with dark chocolate (his fav).  I know this is like the most bizarre thing ever but there were actually stranger bars available like wasabi and chocolate.  Tash bought like 1 of everything in the store and I’m told she ate almost half of it in the car on her way home like a champ.  That girl really Loves candy like nobody else on the planet.

Today was for delicious foods, tomorrow is for getting back on the healthy wagon and a group run.

Seriously, the bacon chocolate bar sounds amazing lol. And Natasha definitely does eat more candy than anyone I've ever met lol.
