Indoor Gardening

Remember our plants?  Well growing seedlings in the city (or indoors) is not always easy, but it can be done with enough care and attention…or pure luck.

Tomato plants on May 4th after 7 days of sprouting.  I had no idea they’d grow so fast!

Tomato plants on May 21st transplanted into bigger containers.
All of them have survived so far so we have a lot of plants to give away both tomato and basil, I can’t believe it.

Abe is really the one who takes care of them.  He thought about the best windows to put them all in and he checks on them and waters them, I just watch it happen.  It’s not that I don’t like plants, I love plants, I just have a terrible memory and they would die without him.  This weekend they’re going to be transplanted again into bigger containers, I can’t wait to see the first little tomato sprout – but I’m sure we’re pretty far away from that day.
