A little bit of awesome

I woke up this morning and my husband made me an egg sandwich and I had my commuter coffee all ready to go.  We drove to work through the rain so my hair wouldn’t go flat in that misty jerkery of moisture.  I arrived at work at 9:00 on the dot, checking my email while sipping my coffee and making a to-do list for the day.  The morning was filled with an in depth project where I was able to make the creative decisions that made other people’s lives healthier and more fulfilling.  Oh my, an intern came to refresh my coffee at 10:30, what a peach!  At noon, I ate lunch with my group in the kitchen because everyone likes everyone.  All of us pack our lunches in little tote bags because we all care about keeping things cost effective and healthy, sometimes we even trade.  I know my lunchroom is wild sometimes.  There are No snack cakes in my lunchroom.  The afternoon is consumed with meetings with clients where everyone’s expectations are met to the fullest and more items are added to the to-do list for the next day for followup.  At 4:50 I water my office plant and then my husband calls me to tell me he can drive me home from work.

None of this happened with the exception of the egg sandwich.  That is my dream day.

I’m also pretty sure that Kurt is my boyfriend in another life.  Perhaps in another life where I’m not married…and also not a woman… and also not 27.  I love this little guy, he’s just the funniest thing on Glee!  I don’t really enjoy any of the episodes all that much, but whenever Kurt is on he makes it worth my time to be watching it.  He’s just the super cutest thing.  I’d like him to take me shopping someday.
