Strawberry Jam

Yes, I made these! I made 8 jars of strawberry jam. The berries are coming into season perfectly so I thought that I’d give it a whirl. My kitchen was a bit small for this project but It wasn’t over complicated at all, just make sure you have a couple of deep pots before you begin.

The process wasn’t very complex, but I tried to write it out and it became confusing. I used the Better Home and Gardens recipe seen Here, but basically all you need are: 2 quarts of berries, a packet of pectin, 7 cups of sugar, and mason jars. It was fun and inexpensive. The process comes out to be about $2.50 per jar. I really enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would and I hope to try another flavor next time around!

24 hours later…
I would like to take a moment to pat myself on the back. Tonight I had Brinner (breakfast for dinner), and I took my first taste of my jam and it was unbelievable. Seriously.
